Driver Behaviors Monitored by the Samsara System

The Samsara AI dashcams use advanced technology to detect and record specific driving behaviors.

1. Distracted Driving

• Using a handheld electronic device while driving
• Eating or drinking while the vehicle is in motion
• Looking away from the road for extended periods

2. Following Distance Violations

• Tailgating or maintaining unsafe following distances from vehicles ahead

3. Seatbelt Compliance

• Driving without properly fastened seatbelts

4. Signs of Fatigue or Drowsiness

• Head nodding
• Prolonged yawning
• Face rubbing

5. Defensive Driving Actions
